Why do you write? How long have you been writing? I’ve been a writer since I was at school and wrote my first (unpublished) book when I was a teen. The book was about a vampire who falls in love with a high school girl, I guess I was before my time! My first book was published in 2013 and since then I have 8 books in total published, my ninth due in December. Tell us a bit about your current project(s). I’m currently writing the Blue Phoenix series, contemporary rock star romance books. Although they have a few steamy […]

“My number one piece of advice (and I know it isn’t easy), but you have to be patient! It takes time (years!) to build a readership. Don’t expect to be an overnight success and don’t get discouraged. It’s a marathon, not a race. You just have to keep writing, promoting, and publishing.
On the publishing front, whether you self-pub or submit your manuscript to agents/editors, always present your most polished work. Have several people proofread for you and ALWAYS print up a hard copy of your book to read. You will be amazed (and appalled) by the number of errors you will spot in a hard copy that your eyes never saw on the computer screen.”

Why do you write? Because I have stories to tell. I have always been a storyteller and love to make people laugh or react to a story. How long have you been writing? I have been writing since I was a kid, journaling and making up stories. I wrote my first Nancy Drew style mystery when I was in 5thgrade.
